Celeste Acevedo
Ms. Acevedo was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at El Paso and her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Before practicing immigration law, Ms. Acevedo served as Legislative Counsel to U.S. Congressman Joaquin Castro, where she advised the Congressman and his staff on immigration and other policy matters. During her time in Congress, she had the opportunity to visit immigration detention facilities, meet with detained individuals and their families, and advocate on behalf of constituents navigating the immigration system. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to immigration law.
Ms. Acevedo is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Her practice focuses on representing individuals and families in a broad range of immigration matters.
